My passion for jewelry began early when I worked at a popular boutique in Miami, Florida.  After moving to the Chicago area I accepted a job at Neiman-Marcus. There I dabbled in a lot of areas ranging from managing to sales for 10 years…Missing my love for jewelry, I started a job as a buyer and merchandiser at a suburban boutique for 9 more years.   Traveling is another passion of mine.

My husband Harry is in the music business which takes him on the road quite often to some pretty exotic locations with mega entertainers. Fortunately I have had the opportunity to tag along, often to explore unique jewelry stores. On one of these many trips is where I was introduced to my friend Karen hanging out at a Rock N Roll show while our husbands worked. Karen owned a clothing boutique in Rockford, IL, with her daughter-in –law Jen, called “She She”. Knowing my love for jewelry, Karen and I had an idea to open a store together combining, fashion and jewelry.

We all have our own unique visions which have melded together perfectly…………. “Hunny Jewelry Boutique” and “SheShe Clothing Boutique” are two businesses located together in one store which have created a beautiful boutique in prestigious downtown Barrington, just an hour out of downtown Chicago.

Now when I travel, I am wearing the jewelry I sell. Due to the compliments and overwhelming requests, I have decided to open an online store, to share my visions.

Two years after opening the Barrington store, I decided that I missed the downtown Chicago “Vibe”. Located in the heart of shopping paradise at 2027 North Damen, Chicago’s Buck Town was the perfect location for my yearning. I have now moved into the new location along with Sheshe and I have expanded my lines to include accessories now. We named the new store ” Hunny/SheShe Boutiques” .

Hunny/SheShe Boutiques is not your average shopping experience. You will see jewelry, accessories, and clothing worn by fashion icons such as Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Cameron Diaz, Kim Kardashian, & Jessica Simpson,. Designers such as Sir Alistair Rai, Tressie Handbags, JeeVice sunglasses, and a very eclectic array of high end jewelry are featured there. Chicago’s own jewelry designer Lana, Lulu Frost, Virgin Saints & Angels, Tracy Matthews for Men, Love Heals, Catherine Michiels and more, bring their fabulous pieces to Hunny Jewelry Boutique. On the She She side, you will be able to find the very popular J Brand jeans, William Rast, Seven for all Mankind, LnA tees, Juicy Couture, & Rebecca Taylor among many others.

The neighborhood is fantastic, sort of like the Soho of Chicago, and has welcomed our arrival resoundingly. There is really no other place down there where you can pick from such a varied selection of eclectic, high end jewelry, and accessories as well an extensive array of jeans and clothing, like you can under the one roof at Hunny / She She Boutiques.

When I am not at the store or traveling with Harry I am at home with family and friends hanging out with yet another passion of mine, my 2 dogs Angus and Olive ... Who knows, maybe there be a unique dog store one day.
